Blanc de Blancs, literally “white wine from white grapes.” Elaboration
As indicated by its name, this champagne is exclusively made from the celebrated Chardonnay variety. It is blended from grapes harvested in the house vineyards at Cumières and top villages on the Côtes des Blancs. It is left to age on lees for around 5 years Tasting
The Blanc de Blancs is a crisp fresh style of champagne, quite mineral in character, showing some toasty brioche notes on the complex palate with attractive lemony notes on the finish, making it the perfect accompaniment to seafood. Enjoying the Blanc de Blancs de Chardonnay
It is the most mineral of the Joseph Perrier Champagnes, combining a lightness and freshness with depth and length. Ideal for an aperitif with a tasting of oysters for example, it is a great accompaniment to simple dishes ; shellfish (coquilles Saint Jacques, crevettes, carpaccio de langoustines), or grilled fish. With its’ richness and power, together with the freshness of the fruit, it will keep very well. "Art...moiries" box
