Cuvée Royale Brut


The true expression of the House style. Elegant, fresh, light, well-balanced with good length, this is the perfect celebration champagne. Blend: 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier, with around 20% reserve wine. 20 different villages are used, based on our own vineyards in Cumières, Damery, Hautvillers and Verneuil.
Aged: Average of 3 years age.
On the nose the aromas are fine, delicate and complex, with notes of apple and pear. Fresh attack, lots of life, and is yet supple, round and most refreshing on the finish.

Cuvée Royale Demi-Sec


Blend: 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier, with around 20% reserve wine. 20 different villages are used, based on our own vineyards in Cumières, Damery, Hautvillers and Verneuil.
Ageing: Average of 3 years.
On the palate the Cuvée Royale Demi-Sec is rich and generous in its' sweetness with flavours of yellow peach.

Cuvée Royale Blanc de blancs


Blend: 100% Chardonnay, with approximately 15% of reserve wines. Vineyards in the Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs - Chouilly, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Bergères-les-Vertus, with some of our Chardonnay from Cumières and from the region around Bassuet.
Ageing: 5 years minimum.The nose is elegant and complex. There are aromas of white flowers, apricot and mirabelle plums. The palate has plenty of fresh citrus notes and lively acidity, some touches of spice and vanilla, rich brioche elements and a long lemony finish.

Cuvée Royale Blanc de Noirs 2008 Brut Nature


2008 began gently in conditions of relatively high humidity. The temperatures in January and February were above normal though March and April were then much colder than normal with several snowy days.
The summer months were mixed with showery weather in July and an August characterised by less sun than usual. September was fine though and the picking started on 15th in perfect dry and sunny conditions.
Blend: 100% Pinot Noir from Cumières, coming from a single premier cru parcel named the Côte à Bras.
Ageing : separate fermentation followed by ageing in bottle for 6 years.
In the cellars the production is completely traditional, wherever possible done by hand. Each bottle is handled by around 10 people during production.

Cuvée Royale Brut Rosé


Blend : 25% Chardonnay and 75% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, of which around 12% is AOC Cumières Rouge. The fruit is from 15 different villages but based on the family vineyard holdings in the villages of Cumières, Damery, Hautvillers and Verneuil.
Ageing: minimum 3 years.
At first the nose shows both red and black fruits. There are notes of wild violet followed by a touch of liquorice. There is ripeness and breeding on the palate, with hints of sweet red fruits. There is energy and elegance together here with a long finish with just a touch of menthol.

Cuvée Royale Brut Vintage


Blend : 50 % Chardonnay, 41 % Pinot Noir, 9 % Pinot Meunier. The fruit is all from Premier and Grand Cru villages : Le Mesnil sur Oger, Chouilly, Bergères les Vertus, Cumières, Mailly-Champagne, Rilly la Montagne, Sacy...
Ageing : 6 years minimum.
The nose is expressive and charming, with notes of white peach, honeysuckle and quince, followed by some brioche and exotic fruits. On the palate the champagne is full and quite open, beautifully balanced and with real richness, with touches of ginger and apricot jam.

Esprit de Victoria
Blanc de blancs Vintage


Blend: 100% Chardonnay from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards: Chouilly, Avize, Cumières Blanc, Le Mesnil sur Oger.
Winemaking: Fermented parcel by parcel in stainless vat before ageing in bottle for at least 6 years.
The appearance: a bright and pale gold colour sparkling beautifully through the fine mousse. The nose is floral to start with acacia, honeysuckle hawthorn and broom then on trough notes of grapefruit and pineapple. On the Palate: a superb set of fruity flavours with notes of warm pastries, rich and sensuous. The effervescence wraps around the senses and the result is a very well balanced champagne with a long serious and complex finish.

Esprit de Victoria
Rosé Vintage


Blend: 33% Chardonnay, 6% Pinot Meunier, 61% Pinot Noir of which 15% is Cumières Rouge. The fruit is all from Premier and Grand cru villages: Cumières, Mailly, Rilly, Chouilly, Le Mesnil sur Oger…
Winemaking: Fermented parcel by parcel in stainless vat before ageing in bottle for at least 6 years.
The appearance is brilliant and luminous, with a beautiful raspberry colour. The nose is subtile, fresh and attractive with aromas of wild violets and morello cherry. This is followed by hints of cassis and redcurrants, with a touch of vanilla. On the palate there are delicious flavours of red fruits cooked gently and some touches of ripe plums.

Joséphine


Blend: 52% Chardonnay. 48% Pinot Noir all from Premier and Grand Cru villages: Chouilly, Mailly, Cumières Blanc, Le Mesnil sur Oger, Verzy… The nose opens with a fresh and soft appeal, followed by a delicious complex combination of aromas: butter, soft spices dried fruits with grilled almonds and with ripe citrus and apricot notes. A touch of fresh mineral character dominates with some subtle evolved points. On the palate there is a fine fruity yet vinous element, lively yet perfectly balanced. Flavours of spice, dried fruits and ripe fresh fruits over caramel abound tied together by the firm mineral back-bone.
