The 2013 harvest in Champagne took place late, mainly in October, due to a vegetative cycle delayed by a cold, wet winter followed by a cool, rainy spring. This situation led to heterogeneous flowering and variable grape ripeness depending on the plot.
Despite these challenges, favorable summer conditions with a hot, dry summer enabled good ripening of the grapes, particularly the Chardonnays, which showed excellent maturity.

The palate is more discreet, chiselled and straightforward. Citrus fruits, pomelo and orange zest give it structure and bitterness.
food & wine pairing
With its great personality, this cuvée sets the tone right from the aperitif. It's an ideal accompaniment to seafood dishes such as langoustine ceviche.
