Try the daring combination of our Joséphine 2014 vintage and a summer strawberry cocktail.

Ingredients (serves 2) :

 

Strawberry Cocktail : 

  • 10 strawberries
  • ½ bunch basil
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Champagne Joseph Perrier
  • 1 lime zest
  • Lime juice

 

Preparation:

  1. Hull the strawberries.
  2. Chop the basil leaves and place in a blender with the powdered sugar.

Add the water and blend again.

  1. Mix the basil sugar with the hulled strawberries, then add the Joseph Perrier champagne.

Add the lemon zest and juice, then blend again.

  1. Add a few ice cubes to a cocktail shaker and stir in the strawberries, champagne and basil sugar.

Shake, strain and pour into a glass.

  1. Add a little more champagne if you wish.
