Designed in an eco-responsible approach, the Joseph Perrier candle is made from recycled champagne bottles. After being washed, cut and polished, the glass of our bottles has been carefully screen-printed with the letters “Joseph Perrier” in order to receive a combustible vegetable wax during 50 hours.

The fragrance of this artisanal wax, certified Ecocert, was worked on with our Cellar Master Nathalie Laplaige in order to find the smell of the vine leaves so characteristic of the grape harvest and to transport you to the middle of the vineyards from the first use.

Each candle is protected by an individual cardboard case, marked with the effigy of the House.

After 2 years of intensive work and nearly 500,000 bottles delicately moved on this occasion, the Joseph Perrier House is delighted to open its doors to you.
In 2 years, many changes have been made; a new boutique, a tour and a tasting area are now at your disposal. These three areas, located in the heart of the House, welcome you to discover a history that has been perpetuated for almost two centuries. Our wine tourism circuit has been entirely designed to welcome you and give you an extraordinary experience. Between modernization and historical preservation, it will take you on a journey through the years, through part of our 3 kilometers of Gallo Roman cellars and discover authentic flavors during your tasting. This tasting will take place in our new space, the 1825 Cellar, fitted out in the former vats of the House.

Embedded in the history and values of our House, the practice of sustainable and balanced viticulture is particularly important to us. It is in this spirit and with the help of our vineyard manager, Patrick Martin, that we obtained the High Environmental Value and Sustainable Viticulture certifications in Champagne on March 5th.

Since September 2020, we welcome you in our 3 kilometres of Gallo Roman cellars, to share exceptional and unique moments.
